Satya Shiva has been working side by side with the Ngakpa House Directors since 2001. She has been the Director of Ngakpa International since 2010, and has been the Pancha Karma Clinic Director of the Yogic Medicine Institute since 2004. Satya is a skilled Natural Health Practitioner with training and certifications in Pancha Karma Therapy, Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Counseling, QRA muscle testing, and Emotional Response Technique. Satya is also an Ayurvedic Chef, Certified Doula, Massage Therapist, Meditation Instructor and Hatha Yoga Teacher with a degree in Biological Anthropology, and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is passionate about Tibetan Buddhism, Natural Medicine, Sustainability and the Yogic Sciences and is enthusiastic to practice and share their ancient wisdom. Satya also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Ngakpa Intl., a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to preserving the Yogic Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
